Formula 1 is the no.1 or no.2 sporting interest of Golf players in the largest golf markets. In testing we discovered that despite the high speeds at which a golf club head travels aerodynamic performance of the leading brands was surprisingly poor making it harder for the average player to consistently control and transmit the maximum energy to the ball at impact.
DESIGN
An innovative licensing partnership to develop the famous Formula 1 team brand Williams Racing in a new sport by applying Williams’ IP in aerodynamics and materials science to golf club design.
DELIVER
Williams Racing Golf has developed a complete range of high performance golf equipment and accessories. Having successfully disrupted the golf industry many of the leading brands led on the aerodynamic features of their new product launches at the 2015 PGA show, but none have yet matched the aerodynamic performance of the Williams MR driver: www.williams-racing-golf.com
