V8 Supercars Chairman Tony Cochrane has spoken about the appointment of Rush Sports Marketing & Investment, his goals for the sport in 2013 and the position of the Tasmanian V8 round beyond this year.

Cochrane recently returned from the USA where it was announced the V8 Supercars Championship would be racing at the Circuit of the Americas outside Austin #Texas# from 2013. The same track will host Formula 1 and MotoGP.
